RTG led the schematic design, alternatives analysis, and environmental studies for 5.2 miles (Spur 601 to US 62/180) of roadway widening to add a third travel lane in each direction as well as frontage roads, ramps, and direct connectors at the Spur 601 Intersection. Tasks included project coordination, developing alignment/intersection alternatives and alternatives screening matrix, geometric design, preliminary cost estimates, preliminary engineering report and preparation of conceptual schematics.
